Make a difference in the lives of those who need help acquiring, receiving, or making their own meals.
The need for food security organizations to expand their service output is growing at a rapid rate. Each year, these organizations rely on thousands of volunteers to help collect, sort, and distribute food to the neediest of families. Some of these organizations and programs include meals on wheels programs, food banks/pantries, soup kitchens, and various food drives throughout the year. Volunteers are particularly needed to help operate summer programs as children who rely on free or reduced school lunches have dramatically reduced access to regular meals.
