Youth Engaged in Service (YES, as we like to call it!) is a program of Pittsburgh Cares that connects youth and families to volunteer opportunities, service learning and leadership development experiences. YES creates positive social and personal change by empowering youth and families with opportunities to make a difference.

- Pittsburgh Young Leaders Academy (PYLA): An elite youth service academy designed to develop young leaders who will enhance the quality of life in Allegheny County.
- Youth Advisory Council: A group of young, energetic, and civic minded teen service leaders who help to develop and execute YES key initiatives, and serve as ambassadors for the power of all kids to make their mark in our region.
- Family Cares: Parent and child teams volunteering both their time and treasure.
- Professional Development Series: The PD series is for educators, youth workers, parents, and our agency partners to implement philanthropy education in their community.
- Customized Service Experiences: Interested in getting your whole school or group involved in service? Let us customize it for you. Samples of types of customized service contracts include, Days of Service, Leadership & Service Workshops, Leadership and Service Learning Curriculum and Support, Professional Development Workshops, and Events, Fairs, or Guest Speakers.
