PITTSBURGH CARES APPRECIATION APPEARANCE

At the end of February, volunteers were busy working to make sure that those in need get regular meals when Pittsburgh Cares showed up with surprise thank yous for each of them!  Packing and distributing food to the needy is one way that volunteers can make an impact on their community.   Thank you to everyone who participated in this project!

Your project could be picked in March...

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s passion for diversity by taking part in the Neighborhood Diversity Tours! Participants on the narrated tour of the South Side received a special thank you for all of their generous support.

Be on the lookout for the surprise thank you gift in February...

This December, volunteers at Reform Presbyterian Home were awarded a special holiday thank you after spending their afternoon with RPH residents!

Who knows where we could show up in January...

Pittsburgh Cares is lucky to have such energetic and enthusiastic volunteers committed to improving our community! To show our appreciation, a Pittsburgh Cares staff member will make a surprise appearance at a project from the community connections calendar each month.

This November, Pittsburgh Cares gave thanks to volunteers packing food at the Squirrel Hill Food Pantry by awarding them a Thanksgiving appreciation prize!

Can you guess which December project we will drop in on...
